BRADLEY J. BEREZNAK began his career as a patent attorney in 1988. He has prepared and successfully prosecuted hundreds of patents in such diverse fields as telecommunications, semiconductor processes, integrated circuits, computer systems, networks, software and Internet applications, telephony systems, business methods, musical instruments, optical and magnetic storage media, electromechanical devices and biomedical devices and processes. He also has extensive experience in complex litigation matters, including patent interferences, U.S. District Court hearings, and appellate court advocacy at both the state and federal levels. He earned a M.S.E.E. from the University of Illinois in 1982 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University in 1988. Prior to attending law school, he worked as an electrical engineer designing analog and digital chips in the semiconductor industry. He is a past lecturer on patent interference law at Santa Clara University. He is admitted to the bar in California, Illinois, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Central, and Northern Districts of California, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
